On March 27, Hyosung Power & Industrial Systems PG signed a 270 billion won order to construct electrical substations in Qatar. Hyosung PG will construct a total of eight electrical substations that contain high-voltage power transformers and GIS (gas insulated switchgear) including six 200kV (kilovolt) GIS substations and 66kV GIS substations in the 10-stage power grid expansion project of Qatar. He attended the ceremony with Jeong Ki-jong, the Korean ambassador to Qatar, and the president of Power PU Baek Heung-geon and Qatar's Minister of Energy and Industry H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada signed the contract.
